Thurmond N. Tillman has more than 35 years of proven executive leadership, marketing, and hands on training in workforce development. His level of expertise has been utilized across marketplace spectrums including government at all levels, non profit, and private entities.
His leadership includes assisting pathways to a variety of employment services inclusive of policy & brand development, training, outreach, and executive board leadership. These strategic positions include Goodwill Industries of Coastal Georgia, Savannah Economic Development Association, Savannah Technical College, Re-entry programs of Georgia and Vice President of the Savannah Housing Authority. Tillman has held positions with the United States Census Bureau serving in the capacities of team leader, partnership coordinator, and community outreach. As a Community Outreach Specialist, he applies his over 30 years experience in innovative and effective public leadership to advance project strategies for global communities and employment engagement.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University Of West Georgia and a Masters of Divinity from Morehouse School of Religion.
